About me.
My name is Sophie, and I am a native of Chengdu. In everyday life, I am easygoing, down-to-earth, and full of warmth. On weekends, I love carrying a lidded tea bowl (Gaiwan) to a neighborhood teahouse, and in the afternoons I often join the aunties for joyful square dancing. When I have extra time, I enjoy strolling through Kuanzhai Alley and collecting traditional Chengdu bamboo handicrafts.
I run a small but cozy Sichuan restaurant. When it gets busy, I personally welcome guests, and my homemade sour plum drink is always free to refill. The restaurant may be small, but it is full of heart.
For my future partner, I hope you are between 35 and 43 years old, settled in Chengdu. You don’t have to be wealthy, but you should truly understand the spirit of Sichuan flavors “numbing but not overwhelming.” I hope you will eat dandan noodles with me, watch peach blossoms in Longquan Mountain, chat together when we’re tired, and when we’re happy, enjoy spicy crayfish with cold beer. Life should be lively, warm, and full of joy just as Chengdu is.
I value a partner who respects women’s careers, is open-minded, tolerant, and kind, can accept divorce (with or without children, as long as the children are treated with genuine care), and does not indulge in smoking or excessive drinking.
I look forward to sharing a simple, passionate, and real life together.
